When I first met with Brianna & Matthew and they brought their boys, Franklin and new baby Beau
on camera in Zoom’land, they stole my heart instantly. From the way they snuggled on their little guys
and each other during their engagement session last year, it was a delight to see their love in action even more on their Wedding day!
From Brianna trying to hold it together at the first look with her Father, I was definitely feeling the water works. Speaking of water…I always wonder whether a groom will cry. All I could see was Matthew smiling the entire time. As Brianna approached the Ceremony accompanied by her Father, it was fun hearing Brianna’s Sister (MOH) saying, “Don’t Look!” to Matthew from the altar. There was also an unexpected turn of events when the flower girl took a dip in the stream. Thankfully she was safe and full of smiles afterwards. This was the first wedding in my books with a flower girl trashing the dress.
Another theme for their day was Roses. Each family and wedding party member that processed brought a red rose to the altar, from which Brianna & Matthew received a rose each for their Unity. Brianna’s Father also gave the most beautiful speech on the 1,000 year rose.
With the thoughtfully planned details, and unexpected moments met with grace and laughter,
I feel certain their love will last 1,000 years as the Father of the Bride wished for Mr. & Mrs. Bilodeau.
