As much I enjoy work (and I have to admit I am a bit of a workaholic at times) I realize my schedule is all over the place and it seems as if my professional life is spilling over into my personal life a bit. 2020 and going into this year has been very much about reevaluating and restructuring my business to make it work even better not only for myself but to be a far better experience for my clients. I’ve invested so much time and energy into research and education, rebranding and redesigning my website, that it’s given me so much to think about and consider even on a deeper level personally about how I serve my couples, but I realize too I need to take into consideration just how I’m serving my family and my time with them. I try to schedule my time each week as much as possible in advance. Of course meetings come up, but going into 2021 I’m considering whether it would be wise to set a schedule to have official business hours for when I do check in and when I can schedule meetings, and scheduling time with my family. It’s a lot to juggle, and I thought working from home and working for myself would make time management that much easier…I guess I was wrong LOL! Anyway, in the upcoming weeks I may be more proactive in deciding on business hours and announcing those so I am available to you and my couples at times I can be and also being available to my family. I guess it’s time to focus on a healthy work-life balance!
