I met Stephany a few years ago after she and Orlando moved to Lancaster from SoCal! They relocated to be closer to Orlando’s family and to start a family of their own. A year-and-a-half ago, Cali arrived, and has since changed their lives in the best possible ways! She is the light of their lives. This is the very reason I asked Stephany if they would do a family session with me as I’ve always felt nervous about diving into photographing families. It is much different than photographing a wedding, but in some ways is very similar as kids (as much as weddings) are often times unpredictable! I realized quickly that the poses I had in my back pocket weren’t going to pan out and I just went with the flow capturing the very essence of this very free-spirited little girl who is discovering her freedom! Cali just wanted to roam, explore, and play which she did! All of that to say, here is what we ended up with, and I’m looking forward to more sessions with them as their family grows!
